I recently rented the "Ladies In Lavender" DVD. Starring Judi Dench and Maggie Smith, it's a late-1930's story of two sisters in their mature years, living together in a small So. Cornwall fishing village, who find a young Polish man washed up on the beach. They take him in. It turns out that he is an extremely talented violinist.

The violin performances are by Joshua Bell, and they're really extraordinary.

Here's Joshua. Pity he's so unattractive! Laughing
