I assure you, I included myself when I made the above statement "Everyone's perspectives are biased towards themselves." This includes a bias towards one's own conceptions of others, although we can each make a concerted effort to see things from more than one perspective.

If Frey was writing a book would you have said the same thing, would you have your skeptical mind prime and ready, salt shaker in hand?

Frey occasionally remarks that he IS writing a book, so we'd better lay in a good supply of seasonings and skepticism. I guess he's going to wait until after Felder's little effort now!

Wow, the possibility of a back-and-forth book war! This could become quite fun... Twisted Evil Laughing

best case scenario -

Felder's book goes for the throat.

Frey responds and somehow rubs Henley the wrong way.

Henley puts his book out ( I hope not, we'd have to read about his walden projects etc. - (boring))

Bernie writes the early years to complee the story.

Not much 'romance' in the endless accumulation of $$$$, that's for sure!

I have the power of discernment no matter who the author may be.

No, I think that you are going into the Felder book with a grain of salt and the mindset that he's going to tell his own story from his own point of view which might not be true and you are looking for lies, holes in his story.

But if Frey would release a book you would go into it with an open and receptive mind that whatever he is saying is true until proven wrong.

Well, I daresay I know what I think better than you do.

That's just like the athlete telling the reporter that he does not know what he's talking about because he didn't play the game.

The reporter then replies, I've heard your words, seen your actions and know your history, which gives me a good indication on what lies in the molecules inside your skull.

I think we both know that character sketches drawn from internet postings have a tendency to be flawed.

But I think it's pointless to argue this hypothetical anyway. You have your preconceived notion of me and it's a waste of my time to try to talk you out of it.

Besides, I think trying to puzzle out the molecules of my skull may overwork yours. Why don't you go back to talking about Felder instead of talking about me. He's much more interesting.

Au contraire Soda, I think you're a very interesting person and represent a big segment of the modern Eagles fan.

Your thought process on the band matters, a bit, somewhat, very much bias but that's all right no matter how much
you the nile it.

and Winslowboy I thought tyou were my friend, you want me sued, shame on you.
